Phototransfers on glass

"Botanical Garden" (2025)

 

"Botanical Garden" is like a poetic walk. 

For the starting visual material I set out on my own with my camera along the Botanical Garden of Meise (near Brussels).I worked and transformed it in an intuitive way into kilnfired layered images on glass. 

Each of the 3D- hanging glass objects, is 27,0 cm x 24,0 cm x 3,0 cm. The distance between the front and the back part of each slumped  object is 2,5 cm.

Float glass; Slumping, kiln fired photo decal transfers on the front and back side, kiln fired painting, silver leaf gilding on some of them.
